Target’s gone and done it again: given me yet another reason to go and drop a few of my hard-earned dollars at their retail sites. Opalhouse, Target’s new home decor line launched on April 8, and I’m loving it. This new brand is one that to me is reminiscent of Anthropologie and Pier 1, but in usual Target style is at a fraction of the cost. In addition to adorable figurines and globally-inspired candleholders and throw pillows, Opalhouse offers a few colorful furniture items as well.
In the photos below, I’ve showcased a few finds. The dining room bookshelf is an old $17 Room Essentials given new life with some new Opalhouse peel-and-stick wallpaper. My younger daughter loved the pink taper holder and peacock figurine.
I didn’t want to go too crazy, so I limited my new purchases to what I’d display across multiple seasons. But what a fun way to give the house a bit of a spring update without breaking the bank. Too much anyway…
